AFHF Celebrates ARcare Center for Education and Wellness Groundbreaking Ceremony!

$3 Million State-of-the-art early learning center will be first of its kind in the Delta region 

When: Thursday, Sept. 29, 4 – 5 p.m. 
Where: 800 Main Street, Augusta, AR (Corner of 9^th and Main Streets)
What: Ground Breaking Ceremony for the ARcare Center for Education and Wellness.
Who: ARcare leadership staff, Augusta Public Schools administrators, teachers and staff, and local business leaders
Why: The $3 million facility, which is scheduled to open in September 2012, will feature a pediatric medical clinic, state-of-the-art classrooms and a specialized curriculum focused on early learning, reading, healthy eating habits and creative play in a safe and caring environment. This new first-class center will provide the children of the Arkansas Delta an opportunity to break the cycle of illiteracy and combat obesity and weight-related issues. The ARcare Center for Education and Wellness is open to all Augusta residents.
